Q: What are the eligibility requirements to enroll at AchievePoint Virtual Academy – South District?
A: In order to qualify, students must be between the ages of 15 and 21, live in Florida, and have dropped out of high school or no longer be attending any school.
Q: What grade levels are offered?
A: We are a charter high school serving students in grades 9-12.
Q: Are there enrollment application deadlines?
A: AchievePoint Virtual Academy – South District is open for enrollment throughout the year. You don’t have to wait until the beginning of the traditional school year or semester to enroll.
Q: Are there any out-of-pocket expenses to attend?
A: No! AchievePoint Virtual Academy – South District is completely free to attend.
Q: Are there any face-to-face requirements?
A: All of your coursework will be completed 100% online, and you will not be required to attend any face-to-face class sessions. All your meetings with teachers, coaches, and tutors will be conducted online. However, students will be required to take all required state exams in person.
Q: What are the graduation requirements for this program?
A: AchievePoint Virtual Academy – South District offers the opportunity for a Florida standard high school diploma. In certain instances, an ACCEL diploma may be offered as well.
Q: How long will it take to complete my diploma?
A: That depends on how many credits you transfer in and how quickly you work. Typically, students are expected to make the same amount of progress in a school year as they would in a traditional high school, but you can complete courses faster if you choose. At AchievePoint Virtual Academy – South District, you can graduate as soon as you meet all the requirements. No need to wait!
